HEART’S DESIRE 2026 (Brief description)
This year our JH script chosen is entitled Heart’s Desire. It is a story of how misguided
heart desires can potentially affect your relationship with others and can have long term
lasting effects.
The main characters, Angela and her daughter, Gabby, have recently moved to a new town
due to a recent promotion Angela received through work.
Angela is very excited about this opportunity. In fact, she has already volunteered to take
on additional hours and projects to prove to others her talent and value. Angela’s focus is
entirely on work and moving up the corporate ladder quickly.
Gabby on the other hand is struggling. She has left behind a school in which she had a lot
of friends and was very popular… to attend a school and live in a town that she knows NO
ONE. Gabby is struggling to fit in at school and is desperate to make friends. She feels
completely alone since her mom is working more hours and is never at home.
James is the one student who has befriended Gabby. He has reached out and shown
kindness to Gabby. James is totally unaware that another student at their school, Tilly,
harbors anger and resentment toward him. They were close friends at one point. Now,
however, Tilly has her heart set on one thing and that’s getting revenge!
In this drama you will follow a story that leads to consequences that no one saw coming!
